‘Circular Studio’ course to redesign post-consumer wood
In spring 2026, 50 selected architecture students from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology will take part in a ‘Circular Studio’ course. It will let them scavenge, redesign and rebuild post-consumer wood materials into full-scale (1:1) prototypes. The results will be shared with the local community in the Nyhavna area of Trondheim, along with complete designs for transforming existing buildings in the area. The designs will help extend their lifespan and make them better suited for future use.
